For simplicity, assume that everyone uses deposits rather than money for money. ———————– Assets Liabilities Reserves $ 60,000 checking deposits $ 600,000 $ 400,000 $ 140,000 Loans Bonds Suppose that all commercial banks in the economy, holding the stocks only enough to meet reserve requirements of the Federal Reserve. What is the required reserve ratio? I need serious help here! Please! Help me boys! = 3

Required reserve ratio = Reservation / Deposits = 60,000 / 600,000 = 0.1 = 10%
